Hey, I’m Jake! The filmmaker behind Jake Provo Films, based in Upstate New York.

I started filming weddings because I’ve always loved being creative and finding ways to tell real stories. There’s something special about being able to capture all the little moments that make a wedding day what it is. The laughs, the nerves, the quiet glances and turning that into a film couples can watch and feel all over again.

My style is pretty relaxed. I like to let moments happen naturally and capture them as they are- real, unscripted, and timeless. I aim for a documentary feel with a cinematic touch that makes it all come alive on screen.

As a musician, I also care a lot about sound and music. The right song or bite of audio can take a film from good to unforgettable, and I love weaving that emotion into every story I tell.

My favorite part of this job is getting to step into a couple’s world for a day and witnessing one of the happiest moments of their lives. And creating something that lets them relive it for years to come!
